    Ahmednagar is a city in Ahmednagar district in the state of Maharashtra, India, about 120 km northeast of Pune and 114 km from Aurangabad.
    Also referred to as the ‘Place of Saints’, is located between Pune -Aurangabad on road line and between Manmad – Daund on railway line.  
    It shows less development than the nearby western Maharashtra cities of Mumbai and Pune.
