Bangalore airport is also known as Kempegowda International Airport is an international airport.

Kempegowda Airport has three cargo terminals and the cargo handled by the airport increased steadily, with the airport handling about 386,849 tonnes (426,428 short tons) of cargo between April 2018 and March 2019.
Operated by Menzies Aviation Bobba Pvt Ltd one of them has a capacity for 150,000 tonnes of cargo including facility for pharmaceuticals storage.
Another operated by Air India SATS , which can handle 200,000 tonnes of cargo.

Lastly, DHL and Blue Dart Aviation jointly operate a 20,500-square-metre (221,000 sq ft) terminal.
Also a separate cargo village was inaugurated by BIAL in December 2008.
It is spread over 11 acres and including office space, conference rooms etc.
